SYMPTOMS

  • When attempting to review data from an Empower client, the message "Data Missing" appears in the Empower Review window
  • Reviewing the same data from another Empower client works correctly
  • Mapping a drive from the client to the data share was successful
  • Test File Service and Test Share both work from the client
  • WatersService is running and using the local System account
  • Client is in the same domain as the data share and database server

ENVIRONMENT

  • Empower 3

CAUSE

Unknown

FIX or WORKAROUND

  1. Remove the client PC from the domain.
  2. Reboot the client PC.
  3. Add the client PC back to the domain.
