Extract integrated chromatograms within the wavelength range specified by PDA data with Empower 3

PROCEDURE

1. Open the Method Set used for the analysis
   
2. Right-click on the tree bar on the left side of the Method Set Editor window and select "New” > "Derived channel"
   
   
3. On the "First (Only) Channel" tab, select "PDA : Calculated" from the drop-down list,
   In the formula field, enter a “:” between the beginning wavelength and the ending wavelength. (To integrate between 220 and 230, enter “220:230”.)
   Then click "OK"
   
   
4. Enter a name for the derived channel, and then click OK.
   
   
5. In the table on the right side of the Method Set Editor window, select the derived channel name entered in step 4 from the "Channel name” drop-down list,
   Set the processing method in "Processing Method” on the same line, select "File"> "Save" and save the method set
   
   
6. Specify the method set saved in step 5 and perform the processing.
