SYMPTOMS

• 2695 Alliance will not inject
• Instrument failure @ IEEE (xx) observed
• BusLace status shows "OK" in Node Properties
• All IEEE instruments show OK? "NO" in the node properties
• Ethernet system connects without issue

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower Enterprise
• Empower Personal
• Waters Alliance HPLC
• Alliance Separations Module 2690/2695/e2695
• 2487 Dual Wavelength Absorbance Detector

CAUSE

Instruments were powered-on after the LAC/E or after the computer for Empower Personal

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Reboot the LAC/E or the computer
