Error: Shimadzu Instrument Service Unavailable in Empower 3 - WKB7682

SYMPTOMS

• Shimadzu Instrument Service Unavailable error observed in Empower 3
• "Shimadzu LC Configuration" tool recognizes the system, but will not connect to configure it

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 Enterprise Feature Release 3 (FR3)
• Shimadzu LC Drivers v3.10 SP6
• LC-2030C

CAUSE

Shimadzu driver not installed on the client.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Install driver on the client.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

After installing the correct driver, perform a hard restart of the system using the switch on the side panel.
