System Idle - Instrument Failure displayed in Breeze2 Software - WKB7680

SYMPTOMS

• System Idle - Instrument Failure
• Unable to connect to the system after rebooting
• Unable to ping the Instrument LAN card

ENVIRONMENT

• Breeze 2
• 2707 Autosampler
• 2414 Refractive Index (RI) Detector
• Pump Control Module (PCM)

CAUSE

Instrument LAN card failed

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Replace card.
2. Go to the LAN adaptor settings:  Control Panel/Network and Sharing Center/Change Adapter Settings/Select Instrument LAN, highlight, right-click, and select Properties/Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)/Select Properties.
3. Set to use the following IP Address 192.168.0.1.
