Error "Attempted to access an unnamed file past its end" when attempting to save a new result in Empower - WKB73659

SYMPTOMS

• Whenever attempt is made to save a new result, the error message "Attempted to access an unnamed file past its end." appears
• The error occurs when using multiple processing methods, even on other sample sets that other users are working on
• Batch processing the sample set results in a server busy error and a processing server monitor failure

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 Feature Release 2 (FR2)

CAUSE

The sample set has special characters in the "Label" section. 

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Remove the special characters.
2. Reprocess the sample set.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This issue has been seen with a label associated with the injection, even if there were no special characters. To troubleshoot, remove the label and see if the processing method can be applied to the injection.
