Empower Configuration Manager takes a long time to open - WKB73157

SYMPTOMS

• Opening the Configuration Manager can take approximately 9 minutes in an environment with 45,000 projects

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 Enterprise with more than 45,000 projects

CAUSE

Loading the Project Tree view in the Configuration Manager is slow.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Archive projects.
2. Use project access properties to limit project access for users.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• CRI-839 has been entered for this issue.
• The Tree view has a limit of 65,535 items, so the number of projects cannot exceed this limit.
• Opening is not as slow when opening Run Samples or Browse Projects from the login window.
