SYMPTOMS
- Empower generates a calibration curve from standards but does not calculate amounts for unknown samples with proper integration and identification
ENVIRONMENT
- Empower
CAUSE
The unknown sample has a lower amount of the component than the lowest standard in the calibration curve, and the fit type is set to linear. Empower will not quantitate when the amount falls outside the range of the standard calibration curve.
FIX or WORKAROUND
On the Components tab of the processing method, in the table, select a fit type of Linear Through Zero.
