Instrument server crash with ntdll.dll error during an Empower sample set - WKB71513

SYMPTOMS

• Instrument server crashes with an ntdll.dll error during an Empower sample set
• Increasing virtual memory does not resolve the issue

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 Feature Release 2
• ICF 3.0 
• Agilent 1290 Infinity II

CAUSE

This is a defect.

FIX or WORKAROUND

The defect CRI-431 has been fixed in Agilent Instrument Control Framework Release version 3.2

Workaround: 

1. Have no condition column or equilibrate function in the sample set.
2. If condition column or equilibrate function must be used, create a new sample set with an inject sample (Blank) as the first line, followed by a condition or equilibrate function column. Include no more than one condition column in a sample set.
