OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Configure plates for an Alliance 2795.

ENVIRONMENT

• Alliance 2795
• Empower 3

PROCEDURE

1. Open the Run Samples window in Empower. This may also be done from the Quickstart interface.
2. At the top of the window, click Edit > Plates.
3. In the new window, select "2790 Layout".
4. Click the number corresponding to the plate position that will be used. There are four available positions.
5. The drop-down list for that position becomes active.
6. From the drop-down list, select the plate type that will be used.
7. Click OK at the bottom of the window.
