Background Processing of Samples currently Acquiring Produces Results with I18 code and Processing Time Stamps before Acquistion Completion Time - WKB65981

ANSWER

Prior to SR3 Empower allowed the background processing of data which was currently being acquired. This causes empty or incomplete results. The full chromatogram was available once acquisition had finished.

The results created by this process had a processing time stamp earlier than the acquisition completion time stamp and were also given the I18 integration code indicating the result was created by processing a partial injection.

In SR3 and above Empower prevents background processing of data in channels that are still being acquired. The message center informs the user that background processing for these channels cannot continue.
