Plates missing from the "assign well plates" drop-down menu for Agilent G7167B Multisampler in Empower - WKB64861

SYMPTOMS

• Plates missing from the "assign well plates" drop-down menu in Run Samples when trying to select a plate
• Importing the plates from the driver does not allow the plate drop-down menu to populate with the plate configurations 
• Cannot run a sample set because the plates need to be configured with the Multisampler
• Deleting and recreating the system via the Agilent PreConfiguration utility does not resolve the issue 

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower
• Agilent LC 1290 Infinity II
• Agilent LC G7167B Multisampler
• ICF 3.0

CAUSE

The drawers were configured incorrectly because the sample plates were not removed.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Configure the Multisampler as described in WKB24672.
2. Follow the instructions and prerequisites outlined in the drawer configuration tool.
