- The instrument shows "No" in node properties
- Pinging the instrument from the node results in "request timed out"
- Other system components are communicating correctly
ENVIRONMENT

- Alliance HPLC System
- 2695 Separations Module
- 2424 Evaporative Light Scattering Detector
CAUSE
Unknown
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Power-off the Alliance 2695.
- Open node properties of the node that is connected to the Alliance 2695.
- Click on the DHCP Configuration tab.
- Click the DHCP Configuration button.
- Remove the entry for the Alliance 2695.
- Power-up the Alliance 2695.
- Wait for the instrument to appear in the DHCP Configuration window.
- Check the Instruments tab of the node properties for a "Yes" in the OK column of the table.
