ANSWER
See the online Help in Empower. Project access depends on User Type, User Group, Project Owner, and Project Access settings.
Users with User Types with the Administrator privilege have access to all projects.
If the user does not have the Administrator privilege, then the following items apply:
- The Project owner is granted User's Own Type access.
- If Owner, Group is set in Project Access and members of defined groups with access are granted access based on the defined Group Type value.
- If Owner, Group, and World is set in Project Access, users who are not members of defined groups with access are granted access based on the defined World Type value.
User | User Type | Project Owner | Group Type | World Type
USER1 | Administrator | N/A | N/A | N/A | Users with the Administrator User Type or Privilege have full access to all projects |
USER1 | Non-Admin | USER1 | N/A | N/A | Project Owner is granted Users Own Type access by default |
USER1 | Non-Admin | USER2 | Applies if Owner, Group is set in Project Access and USER1 is part of a group
USER1 | Non-Admin | USER2 | Applies if Owner, Group, and World is set in Project Access and USER1 is not part of a group |
