Slow response when reviewing Empower sample set injections with multiple custom fields involved - WKB59063

SYMPTOMS

• Reviewing injections from a sample set can take 20 seconds or longer for each injection
• Sufficient project tablespace memory is active
• Same symptom on production or development server
• Page file memory is adequate
• Same review time with other sample sets within specified project

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3
• Empower 2

CAUSE

Project in question has more than 23 custom fields embedded.

FIX or WORKAROUND

There is no fix for this issue. Longer review times are normal when custom fields are involved.

In this instance, when all result custom fields were removed from the processing method and injections were reprocessed, review time went down to 1 second (compared with 20 seconds when all custom fields are active).
