SYMPTOMS
- BusLAC/E driver seems to load
- BusLAC/E not booted ok in node properties "General" tab
ENVIRONMENT
- Empower
- Empower 2
- Empower 3
CAUSE
The National Instruments GPIB card was used in place of a Waters busLAC/E card.
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Remove the National Instruments card and install a Waters busLAC/E card.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The National Instruments GPIB card is an IEEE interface card that is used for MassLynx workstations. It is not intended for use with Empower workstations and/or LAC/E boxes and is not recognized by Empower.
