SYMPTOMS
- BusLAC/E card does not appear in Device Manager
- BusLACE card boots up as expected (refer to WKB5516 - https://support.waters.com/KB_Inst/Chromatography/WKB5516_How_to_determine_if_a_communications_problem_is_related_to_a_BusLAC_E_card)
- Reimaged LAC/E and BusLAC/E card still not identified in Device Manager
- PCI status in the BIOS shows the PCI slot as Empty (should appear as Unknown)
ENVIRONMENT
- LAC/E32 - Configuration 16 (Config16) cLAC/E32
- Windows 7
CAUSE
PCI slot not functioning on the motherboard
FIX or WORKAROUND
Replace the LAC/E32 (RA, if applicable)
