SYMPTOMS
- Empower user tries to access their 2998 detector system and receives a No Bitmap error message.
- Status of system under Node Properties says No
- Can ping system IP okay
ENVIRONMENT
- Empower with Ethernet controlled instrument
- 2489 UV/Vis Detector
- 2998 Photodiode Array Detector
CAUSE
- Driver is not installed on the client workstation that the user is using to access the 2998 system
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Install or reinstall driver
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Always try to review or open the method from the system where drivers are installed.
