SYMPTOMS
- Cannot delete project, which is dimmed (unavailable), or access the project properties
- The following message appears:
- Project is visible in project tree but not visible on project browser screen (right-hand side)
ENVIRONMENT
- Empower 3
- Configuration Manager
CAUSE
The project has become orphaned in the Empower database, so no schema are available for the project. Orphan projects can be created during project deletion or restoration. The following are among the possible causes:
- Database issue
- Network issue during project deletion, creation, or restoration.
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Create a new project with the same name.
- Change the parent project for all the available child projects as applicable. (After all the child projects are moved to the newly created parent project, the unavailable child project appears on the project browser screen.)
