No, it is not possible. The Start Vial and End Vial positions for the 7697A need to match what is in the Sample Set method and Empower Instrument method.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This is addressed in Instrument Control Framework 3.0 as vial numbers are no longer required in the instrument method. When running samples, Empower software derives the vial range from the sample set method.
