OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Compare two channels in Empower for a PDA detector.

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3
• 2996 PDA Detector
• 2998 Photodiode Array Detector
• Agilent DAD 3D channel

PROCEDURE

(You cannot compare channels if data is collected in 3D plot.)

1. To compare, bring the two 3D channels to review by logging in to Empower and going to the Project window.
2. Open the method set.
3. Extract the chromatogram.
4. Click on File, and then click Save.
5. Go back to the Channels tab, highlight the two saved 2D channels, and click Compare.
