How to add a Default Shutdown Method in Empower - WKB3196

OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Configure a Shutdown Method in the Defaults.

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower

PROCEDURE

1. Create a Shutdown Method where at time zero, the flow, temperature, and lamp are turned off  - (How to create a shutdown method in Empower)
2. In the Run Sample Screen, Select Customize > Defaults.
3. In the Run Samples Defaults screen, select Shutdown Method.
4. Select the Shutdown Method and select OK.

Note: This will be the default Shutdown Method for this Instrument only.
