What are the details of the Empower abort-related CRI-2839 and CRI-3485? - WKB279535

Article number: 279535

ENVIRONMENT

  • Empower 3
  • Project Audit Trail

ANSWER

CRI-2839 — Stopping flow at the Instrument/Instrument Failure does not show a username in the project Audit Trail. The reason in the Details column of the Audit Trail shows "User Aborted", although Empower does not know what user stopped the flow.

The Username column in the Audit Trail is intentionally left blank because Empower does not know what user pressed the stop flow button on the instrument; nor is an instrument failure caused by a user. The reason that appears in the audit trail has been changed from "User Aborted" to "Aborted" in the Project Audit Trail in Empower 3.8.0 and later versions.

The Release notes are being revised, and this information will be in Version 03 of Empower 3.8.0. The release notes timing is to be determined.

CRI-3485 — For an Instrument Failure, the corresponding Project Audit Trail record does not state the username, and the comments in the audit trail are from the previous record. For the same reason as in CRI-2839, it is intentional that the username is not reported in the audit trail. There should be no user comments.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Some scenario comments appear in the audit trail from the previous audit trail record. This issue is not always reproducible. Engineering is assessing it to understand the root cause and determine if it can be fixed.
