No users found when creating a new LDAP-based user in Empower - WKB27949

SYMPTOMS
- No user objects are found in the "Select users from LDAP tree" dialog box
ENVIRONMENT
- LDAP authentication in Empower
CAUSE
The search criteria are incorrect in the Empower LDAP configuration.
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Do not enter the DC information from the Domain Components field into the Search Criteria field.
- Ensure that the entry in the Search Criteria field references the correct directory location and that the entry contains no spelling or formatting errors.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
As a test, try just the Search Criteria of either OU=People or CN=Users
