Manual injection failure with Agilent GC - WKB261856

SYMPTOMS

• Sample set interrupted with instrument failure/manual injection failed message

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 with ICF 3.4 or later using the Manual injection option

CAUSE

When using manual injection with Agilent GC, after the sample set is started, the system goes into waiting for injection mode. The system waits for only 10 minutes for the start button to be selected. If the start button is not selected within 10 minutes, the sequence stops.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Select the start button within 10 minutes after the injection is completed or after the sample set is started.

CRI-3478 - This issue was fixed in ICF SL 3.6.
