SYMPTOMS

• The message "dxxxx.dat deleted because no matching chromatogram with identifier xxxx" appears in the Empower recover.log

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3

CAUSE

Due to a defect in Empower, it is possible that a network communication failure can cause this message when a data channel is obtained from the database but the channel assignment is not able to be committed to the database.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Reinject the affected sample.

This issue is documented as defect PCS#56321. The likelihood of experiencing this failure is very low.
