HS sample set altered by user shows "waiting for injection" - WKB260158
Article number: 260158
SYMPTOMS
- Sample set started in HS; user later alters the sequence and adds additional injection
ENVIRONMENT
- Empower, all versions
- ICF 3.1 and higher
- HS running with High throughput option
CAUSE
When a sample set is running with the High throughput option in the instrument method, altering the sample set and adding an additional injection is not supported.
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Do not alter the HS sequence if running in high-throughput mode.
- Use low-throughput mode if a sample must be altered while running HS.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
When using HS in low-throughout mode, the run time of the sequence increases because the vial goes into the oven for equilibration only after completion of injection run time. In high-throughput mode, the vial goes into the oven for equilibration during injection run time.
