SYMPTOMS

• Restoring a project into Empower fails with the message "Restored project could not be updated to the current database version and will be deleted"
• The project is being restored into an instance other than the one it was originally in when backed up
• Empower version is the same for both instances
• 

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 FR5 SR4

CAUSE

Hard drive capacity of the raw data share is almost completely consumed prior to restoring the project.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Allocate more space to the drive to allow room for all of the raw data files in the backed-up project.
