With an EDS365 server, how can you tell if data is currently extracting? - WKB24590

OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Determine if data is currently extracting. (If you are considering rebooting the EDS365 server, it is VERY important to ensure that the server is not performing ETL at the time, or the data transfer will fail.)

ENVIRONMENT

• EDS365 

PROCEDURE

1. Open ODI Studio (shortcut on the desktop).
2. Select "Connect to Repository" and accept the default details.
3. Expand "Session List".
4. Expand "Status"
5. Select Refresh (using the double arrow icon).

If there are no sessions running, it is safe to stop the agents and reboot the server.
