The report cannot be saved and printed as pdf in Empower.
ENVIRONMENT
- Empower 3.6.0
- Windows 10
CAUSE
The printer options in the computer control panel are missing the Microsoft Print to PDF and Waters PDF generator selections.
FIX or WORKAROUND
Rebuild Microsoft Print to PDF:
- Press Windows+X to open the system shortcut menu, and click [Control Panel].
- Ensure that the viewing mode in the upper-right corner of the control panel is "Category", and click "Uninstall Program".
- Click "Enable or Disable Windows Functions" in the "Programs and Functions" interface.
- Select "microsoft print to pdf" in the Windows Functions box, and click OK to wait for the system to download and install automatically.
- Click "Close" after installation.
- Reopen Devices and Printers to use "microsoft print to pdf".
Rebuild Waters PDF generator options:
- Run the CMD into the x:\empower\bin.
- Type command: WatersPrintCaptureDriverInstall.exe -install -for=Empower
