SYMPTOMS

The decimal separator not being ".", in combination with USB port

Checked AV exclusions for the programs, directories, and level of heuristics. No issue reported.
Changed the USB connector to USB 2.0 and reloaded driver in OS.
Configured instrument as described in WKB95853_How_to_Configure_a_2432_Conductivity_Detector_in_Empower.
Used series of zeros for unique addressing.
W2432 was visible and control panel showed "initializing" and then readback. However, readbacks had nonsense values.
Set up full US regional settings (applied to Administrative application for system and new users), and then obtained signal and correct feedbacks from detector to control panel.
