When trying to process a sample set, only two samples are processed and the error message "No Channels Specified to Clear in the Method Set" appears - WKB22517

SYMPTOMS

• When processing a sample set, only the first two samples are processed
• The Message Center contains the message "No Channels Specified to Clear in the Method Set"

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3

CAUSE

The sample set method had a Clear Calibration line following the the first two samples, and the method set on that line had no instrument method selected.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Add the appropriate instrument back to the method set, save the method, and then process the sample set again.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This issue will still be seen when performing background processing using a specified processing method.

 The sample set method still needs the instrument method to be included in the method set associated with a Clear Calibration line.
