SYMPTOMS
- Q46 processing error code when using a quadratic fit type in the processing method with six standards.
ENVIRONMENT
- Empower 3 FR2 HF1.
CAUSE
A Q46 error indicates that a calibration point is too far off the curve.
FIX or WORKAROUND
Using a fifth-order fit type fit the calibration more closely and did not generate any errors. This allowed the curve deviation to be calculated and reported normally.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Other fit types such as linear through zero may work as well.
