SYMPTOMS

• Q46 processing error code when using a quadratic fit type in the processing method with six standards.

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 FR2 HF1.

CAUSE

A Q46 error indicates that the y value of the point is above the curve.

FIX or WORKAROUND

This is normal behavior. The point is above the calibration curve.

• For all nonlinear fit types, the software only reports X-values from 0 to the highest X-value of the standard points.

• A point’s Calc. Value is not calculated for a point when its Response (y-value) does not intersect the curve within the range of the curve (from 0 to the highest X-value).

• Adding higher data points or using alternative calibration Fit Types may be required.
