SYMPTOMS

• No amounts are generated in Empower 3 when using default amounts

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3
• Default amounts are being used

CAUSE

On the Default Amounts tab of the processing method, there is no entry for Level.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Specify a level for each injection of standard.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

When the Default Amounts tab is used, levels must be specified in order for a calibration curve to be created. This is different from use of the Component Editor to create a calibration curve.

This is also true in Breeze.
