PROCEDURE

1. Open the "Components" tab on the Processing Method Editor screen.

2. Select the name of the main peak from the drop-down list in the "RT Reference" column of the relevant component row.

3. Enter the relative retention time value in the "RRT" column of the relevant component row

4. Save the processing method and run the process.

* In the New Processing Method wizard, the same settings can be made on the screen below.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

From Empower 3 FR2, it is possible to match components by relative retention time (RRT).
If there is a shift in the absolute retention time, you can save the trouble of manually correcting the retention time by setting the match criteria using RRT.
The RRT value is the value calculated by "Peak retention time / RT reference peak retention time".
