SYMPTOMS

• Cannot see the Auto Addition options for the sample set method in Empower 3.6.0 and above 

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3.6.0
• Empower 3.6.1

CAUSE

This was a known issue (INFEMP-8915) in Empower 3.6.0 and was described in the release notes.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. When you open Run Samples using a chromatographic system that does not allow In-Needle Auto Additions, when you press Options on the Single tab, the Auto Additions field is present in the Options table.

2. In the Sample Set table, you can select the "Prep Type" column and use "In-Needle Auto Additions" from there.
