Extra result created for a standard during processing of the sample set in Empower - WKB198558

SYMPTOMS

• An additional, unexpected result is created a few seconds after the expected standard result

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 Feature Release 2

CAUSE

During the creation of the sample set method, a "u" is used in place of an "s" as the lead character in the label column for the last standard injection. The processing column is set as "Normal".  Unknowns are processed a second time because the last standard injection's label matched the criteria in the Label Reference column.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Review the use of labels and wildcards in the Label Reference column to ensure processing occurs in the expected manner.
