SYMPTOMS

• Since the change to daylight saving time at the end of March 2021, the Empower time is no longer correct
• One hour difference between Empower time (Date Acquired, Date Processed, and so on) and actual time
• Time is CET instead of CEST

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 2

CAUSE

Oracle DST (Daylight Saving Time) for Empower 2 is version 3. This version doesn't have information beyond 2020.
DST updates from RDBMS DSTv9 onward extend this to the year 2040.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Change the time zone for each node in Empower. (For example, for Europe/Paris, put Etc/GMT-2.)

Empower 2 is in limited support, so no fix is provided.
