SYMPTOMS

• Incorrect username reported in method history and method audit trail

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower, all version below 3.6.1
• Method Properties tab
• Method history and Method Audit Trail

CAUSE

If two users have edited the same sample set method at the same time, Method Differences and Method Audit Trail will report the first user who saved the sample set method as the user who made changes.

FIX or WORKAROUND

This issue, is reported as CRI-1838, is fixed in Empower 3.6.1. There is no fix or workaround other than updating Empower to 3.6.1.
