Message Center error "Job Stopped Prematurely" for Agilent GC - WKB124537

SYMPTOMS

• Empower Message Center reports "Job stopped prematurely"
• Empower Message Center reports "Instrument Failure AgGC#XXXXX"
• Agilent G1888 Headspace preparing for injection
• Agilent G1888 Headspace running GC cycle timing

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3
• Agilent ICF Support Layer v3.3
• Agilent 7890 GC
• Agilent G1888 Headspace

CAUSE

Pressing the stop button from Agilent G1888 Headspace at the time of GC cycle timing cause a "Job stopped prematurely" error to be reported.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Do not press the stop button on Agilent G1888 Headspace.
