ANSWER

1. Remove any Waters Instrument Control Software (ICS) via Windows Control Panel > Programs and Features, following through the Deployment Manager wizard steps. Restart computer.
2. Deactivate Empower license.
3. From Windows Control Panel, click Programs and Features, select Empower software and click Uninstall.
4. Follow the steps in Deployment Manager wizard.
5. Restart the computer.
