OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Restore communication with e2695 and 2998.

ENVIRONMENT

Empower 3 Enterprise
Empower 3 Personal
Alliance e2695
2998 PDA detector
2414 RI detector

PROCEDURE

Power-off the instruments.
Using Empower Configuration Manager, reboot the LAC/E 32 connected to the instruments (or reboot the Empower Personal Workstation).
When the LAC/E 32 has completely booted back up, power-on the instruments.
Allow the instruments to completely initialize.
Open Empower Run Samples and confirm communication.
