Restore communication with e2695 and 2998.

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 Enterprise
• Empower 3 Personal
• Alliance e2695
• 2998 PDA detector
• 2414 RI detector

PROCEDURE

1. Power-off the instruments.
2. Using Empower Configuration Manager, reboot the LAC/E 32 connected to the instruments (or reboot the Empower Personal Workstation).
3. When the LAC/E 32 has completely booted back up, power-on the instruments.
4. Allow the instruments to completely initialize.
5. Open Empower Run Samples and confirm communication.
