Empower 3 error: System Idle - Buffering would overwrite - WKB115014

SYMPTOMS

The running Sample Set was terminated unexpectedly at the beginning of an injection (the vial was untouched)
An error showed in the status bar of the Run Samples interface: "System Idle - Buffering would overwrite"

At the beginning of an injection, Empower creates the record and assigns Injection and its Channel(s) ID in the database.
And at the same time, it also creates dxxxx.dat file(s) under the corresponding LAC/E's path: x:\Empower\InstrumentServer\<SystemName>\<Alias>\<Project>
(where xxxx represents the Channel ID)
If there is already a dxxxx.dat file in this folder (same file name; i.e., same Channel ID), Empower does not create a new one to overwrite it, because the existing one may be useful buffered data and was not yet uploaded (recovered) to the server. And because of this, the sample set terminated.
The error message "Buffering would overwrite" tells the user the situation.

Ensure that the buffered data is recovered properly (by reviewing the recover.log; run InstrumentServer.exe -recover if necessary), and then rerun the sample set.
There may be some DAT files (1KB in size) remaining in the folders; it should be safe to remove or move them away.
