ANSWER

If a project is restored from Empower 3 software (any version), you might not be able to modify its audit trail settings. If a particular setting was available in the software version in which the project was originally backed up, the setting of the restored project is from the original project and cannot be changed during the restore. This includes:

• Full Audit trail settings (enabled or disabled)
• Method change settings
• Result change settings
• Sample change settings
• Deletion settings

If a setting was not available in the software version in which the project was backed up, the setting can be changed as the current system policy allows, just as when you are creating new projects.
