  • Apply correct names to peaks when peaks are not applied with correct names (component name) (identified incorrectly)

  • The peaks are not applied with correct names (see below)
    Peak in 1st row (Unknown): Peak detected but has no name
    Peak in 2nd row (Missing): Name is displayed, but no peak

PROCEDURE

1. Click the "Option" menu at the top of the Review screen, select “Show Components” to display the Component Markers

2. Use Component Markers to change the retention time and the RT window for the registration of components in the processing method
Long middle line: Shows the retention time of the processing method registration. Move this line to the new elution position if the retention time itself has varied
Short lines at two ends: Shows the retention time window of the registration in the processing method. Expand them when the retention time itself hasn’t varied but there is a large variation and deviated.

*By moving or expanding the component markers, the retention time and retention time window of the Processing Method screen opened behind the Review screen are automatically changed.
(To check the processing method, select "Window" menu > Processing Method)

3. If you expanded the retention time window in step 3 and multiple peaks fall within the retention time window, change the “Peak Match” setting in the processing method,
and ensure that you always have the necessary peak name(s) among multiple peaks.
* If you selected the default "Closest", and if there are multiple peaks in the retention time window, the peak closest to the registered retention time will be named.

4. Save the processing method and run the process.
