Multipass IMS is rapid and in most cases separation times are on the order of hundreds of milliseconds. These timescales are perfectly compatible with LC separations. This document describes an approach to develop a multipass method for LC. Prior knowledge of the pass calculator would be useful in order to understand the details herein.
