Syringe plunger overload error on 2767 / 3767 Injector/Collector - WKB7929

SYMPTOMS

• Makes 1 - 2one or two injections and then error message appears

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx
• 2767 Sample Manager
• 3767 Sample Manager

CAUSE

The sample is viscous, so the syringe speed is too fast.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Lower the syringe aspiration/draw rate:

1. Open the inlet method.
2. Click Autosampler > Injection tab.
3. Lower the Aspiration Speed (%)
   Note: Default is 20.
4. Select File > Save.

If it's not solved by lower the syringe speed, a cleaning of the inject port is needed.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Confirm that the syringe size is correct. In the inlet method, select Waters 2767 > Configuration, and then confirm that the syringe size listed matches the true size.
