OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Teach needle positions after "Needle positions have not been taught" message appears.

ENVIRONMENT

• Waters Fraction Manager - Analytical

PROCEDURE

1. Select Console > Fraction Manager-Analytical > Configure > Bed.
2. Run Bed reset.
3. Select the appropriate plate in the Bed Configuration dialog box, as shown in the picture below.
4. Click Teach and follow the instructions on the screen to teach the Above Vessel and In Vessel positions.

Notes:

• When teaching the Above Vessel position, set the needle height low enough to avoid spraying into other vials.
• Set the needle height low to prevent spraying into other vials, and set the needle height high to ensure safe transfer between vial positions.
• Set a height that allows safe transfer between vial positions.
