Syringe plunger stops moving down after a few seconds when priming the 2767 Sample Manager - WKB22280

SYMPTOMS

• Syringe plunger starts to move down but stops after a few seconds
• Invalid command error message

ENVIRONMENT

• 2767 Sample Manager
• MassLynx

CAUSE

A clog in the pathway creates resistance when the syringe plunger moves down.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Disconnect T7 at the valve.
2. Put down paper towels.
3. Select Waters 2767 > Prime system in the inlet editor.
   If the system primes properly and solvent comes out through the valve, T7 is blocked.
4. Replace the T7 tubing (700002529 - Kit, Tubing T7).
