- The 6890 is supported to run with Ethernet only if you have Agilent Instrument Control Framework (ICF) Support Version 3.0 or up installed
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- If you don't have ICF 3.0 driver then Empower 3 versions FR2 and above will require the USB-to-Serial Converter Kit called Edgeport part number 668000407 and Serial Cable 15 ft 9-pin F/F Null Modem RoHS part number is 441001561.
- The kit that has 4 of the USB cables and 4 of the modem cables is part number 176003516
- Empower 3 FR2 allows direct connection from the 6890 to the computer serial port, but if no serial port is present, or you want to connect multiple serial instruments, the Edgeport will still be needed.
